Resources to Help Pay for Vet Care
Brown Dog Foundation
Brown Dog Foundation is a 501c3 public charity that provides funding to families who find themselves in situations with a sick pet that would likely respond to treatment, but due to an unforeseen circumstance, there is not enough money immediately available to make it happen.
Canine Cancer Awareness
Canine Cancer Awareness is a nonprofit organization dedicated to fighting canine cancer. We help sponsor the veterinary costs of dogs diagnosed with cancer for those families in financial need who would not otherwise be able to afford treatment.
CareCredit is a credit card designed to help you finance your health, beauty and wellness expenses by providing a way to pay for the treatments and procedures you want — for yourself, your family, and your pets — right away (subject to credit approval). Often times, there are special offers through the vet for 0% interest for 6 months. Not all vets accept Care Credit, so be sure to check with your provider.
Cats in Crisis
Cats in Crisis Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to helping cats and kittens with special medical needs receive the veterinary treatment they need to live happy, healthy lives.
Veterinary CreditPlans (VCP) is the leading and only single-source provider of a full suite of integrated pet owner financing solutions. Designed to increase compliance and enable more pets to receive the care they need, VCP helps Veterinary practices boost sales, increase pet owner loyalty, and improve bottom line results. We save pets’ lives by providing grants to help with the cost of life-saving or life-enhancing emergency or specialty care for pets whose families cannot afford the full cost of treatment. In addition to Frankie’s Friends’ support, qualifying families are responsible for a portion of the treatment costs for their pets. The veterinary hospitals at which the pets are treated also assist by giving discounts.
Gracie's Mission, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is staffed completely by volunteers. Our mission is to spread the word about holistic/alternative medical treatments for animals and to give financial assistance to people who want to take their pet to see a provider of alternative medicine for animals. In addition they must meet the guidelines of the grant program set forth by the Mission.
